A friendly and laid back atmosphere welcomes the visitor at Big Fish. The Resort is located right in the heart of Chalok Ban Kao. The bungalows of the resort are built in a U shape around a beautiful tropical garden that allows you to relax in one of the Hollywood swings. Or maybe you would like to chill out under one of the palm trees on the sandy beach of Chalok Bay. At Big Fish Resort you can find accommodation ranging from 500 to 1800 Baht. Bungalows and rooms for 2, 3 or 4 people are available with cold or hot shower, air-conditioning or fan.

The Big Fish Restaurant serves you everything from breakfast to dinner, with a wide choice of Thai and Western food, so everybody will find something for their taste. For all your smaller needs; there is a little mini-market directly connected to the resort. In case you are familiar with riding a scooter; At “Big Fish Resort” you can also rent motorbikes and scooters. Built right in the hillside, on the south end of Koh Tao, Orchid Cliff Resort offers midrange backpacker style bungalows, with an excellent view of the sea. It is about 10 minutes walk from Chalok Ban Kao, and 5 minutes to Sunset Beach, which is a private beach providing excellent snorkeling conditions. The Thai style huts are built on stilts, on the rocks, and come with a fan and bathrooms with hot water, in case you come from a night dive, or cold water, which is probably what you want after a day on the beach.

The stunning view from your bungalow, over the Gulf of Thailand, is continued in the resort own restaurant. Enjoy a variety of Thai food or Western dishes, a friendly service and the relaxed atmosphere of amazing Thailand at Orchid Cliff Restaurant. For your daily needs, there are shopping possibilities in Chalok baan Kao which include 24/7 open shops, bank teller machines, a variety of small shops and Internet access. Along the beach of Chalok Bay you will also find several bars and restaurants with international food and music.
