Sunset Bungalow Resort has its own beach! The resort is about 10-15 minutes walk away from Chalok Ban Kao. The walk through the most beautiful tropical garden of Koh Tao is definitely worth the effort though. Sunset beach is a private beach surrounded by coconut trees and limestone boulders. Like the name of the resort says; the sun sets right in front of your bungalow. The bungalows are traditional Thai style huts, built right on the rocks above the sea, providing you with a stunning view over the Gulf of Thailand. Sunset Beach is also a great snorkeling area where you will find many colorful corals and lots of tropical fish.

If you are looking for a peaceful scenery with simple accommodation, Sunset Bungalow’s backpacker style huts might just be the right spot for your stay on Koh Tao. The Sunset restaurant offers a variety of Thai food and some Western dishes. Fish is usually fresh from the day, since the Sunset family is an old traditional fishing family. You can also find one more restaurant right on the beach and the restaurant of Orchid Cliff Resort is only two minutes up the hill.
