Scuba Diving is superb, all around the island of Koh Tao! The water is warm all year around, and even if it rains,that doesn’t bother us underwater. The visibility around Koh Tao is between 10 and 30+ meters most of the time and so you will have a good chance of shooting great underwater pictures. If you haven’t tried scuba diving yet, no problem! Koh Tao offers you the very best chance to learn to dive!
Meet our “Big Boat”! To be on a small dive boat, cramped up, together with 30 other divers and no shade, can diminish the the best dive! When we designed our dive boat we thought about all that! Our divers have enough space to gear up their diving equipment and a large sun deck to relax on when we are on the way to the dive sites and between two dives. Fresh water, fruits, cookies, coffee and tea are available at all times, free of charge.

The Big Bubble Dive Center in Koh Tao has been moved from its former location, next to the Babaloo Bar and resides today proudly in the center of Chalok baan Kao. Our dive resort now has two air-conditioned classrooms, a large lobby and a comfortable equipment area. Here are some pictures of the new dive shop in Koh Tao.

Scuba Diving Lessons and Fun Diving in Koh Tao Thailand
A little collection of pictures about our dive boat. We call it “The Big Boat” because it really is very spacey. The upper deck of the boat is one huge sun deck covered with a semi shade. It’s cool and you won’t get a sunburn. The sun deck is where we hold the briefings before and after the dives and where we relax and enjoy a quite time to recall what we have seen on our dives. Water, coffee, tea, cookies and fresh fruits are served by our friendly staff between and after the dives.
The lower deck is for scuba diving and gearing up. The large diving platform on the rear of the boat allows easy entry and exits for our divers. There is always a helping hand watching out for you!
They say that there are many more things you can do on Koh Tao, besides only scuba diving; but you know what? We think, scuba diving, is still the best thing you can do on Koh Tao!
